Simcoe + Virtual:
Hi, I’m Brittany!
Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially when we’re juggling responsibilities, emotions, and relationships. If you’re feeling stuck, anxious, or unsure about your next steps, you’re not alone. I’m here to offer a compassionate, non-judgemental space where you can explore your lived experiences and begin creating meaningful change at your own pace.
I have vast experience working with children and youth (ages 5-18) in individual and group settings and have had the privilege of supporting members of Indigenous and LGBTQIA+ communities. I am excited to work with other populations including families, couples, and adults to further expand my practice. My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, solutions-focused, and person centered. I believe you are the expert of your own story. My role is to walk alongside you as we uncover practical strategies that can help you feel more grounded and empowered in your daily life.
My work integrates evidence-based approaches including Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I also incorporate trauma-informed strategies and mindfulness practices to help ensure that therapy feels safe, respectful, holistic, and supportive of your unique experiences. These approaches allow us to explore both the challenges you may be facing and the strengths and values that can support meaningful change.
Currently, I am completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University and am excited to be completing my placement at Mindful Path Counselling. As a life-long learner, I am committed to continuing my professional development through specialized trainings so that the care I provide remains thoughtful, informed, and responsive to the needs of my clients.
Together, we can explore what’s meaningful to you, strengthen your resilience, and create lasting, positive change at a pace that feels right for you,
