Brantford (Highland):

Sometimes life feels overwhelming, especially when coping with trauma, battling addiction, surviving as a crime victim, facing family challenges, adapting as a newcomer to Canada, or searching for belonging in uncertain times. You don’t have to navigate these challenges alone.

With over fifteen years in health and human services, I’ve supported individuals through their most challenging moments as a crime victim specialist. As a first-generation immigrant, I understand the challenges of immigration and the complexities of holding multiple identities, honouring culture while adjusting to new surroundings, and managing the pressures of transition.

My approach centers on genuine connection and cultural humility. Healing happens through a nonjudgmental understanding of your whole story. Whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, grief, or relationship struggles, I offer a space where your experiences matter.

I blend evidence-based practices, including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-Centred Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) within a trauma-informed framework. I recognize that many challenges arise from overwhelming experiences, not personal failure.

As both a Victim Specialist and Addiction Care Worker, I understand that every healing journey is unique. Some people need practical tools to manage stress; others need a deeper exploration of past wounds. I meet you wherever you are, whether in crisis stabilization, skill-building, or working through complex trauma.

My immigrant experience and training in crisis intervention, victim advocacy, and addiction treatment shape my understanding of resilience and culturally responsive care. I’ve helped clients facing domestic violence, substance use, developmental disabilities, and trauma, deepening my appreciation for human strength.

I believe in your capacity to heal and grow. My role is to support you in uncovering your wisdom, strengthening your existing resources, and developing practical strategies that honour your cultural background and current circumstances.

Taking the first step in therapy is courageous. I strive to make it comfortable by honouring your pace, culture, and journey.
