Brantford (Charing Cross) + Virtual

Brantford (Highland) + Virtual:

Finding a therapist can feel overwhelming, especially if you’ve spent a long time carrying things on your own or feeling like you had to “push through.” Whether you’re navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or the lasting impact of past experiences, you don’t have to do it alone. Reaching out for support can bring up uncertainty, self-doubt, or the feeling that “others have it worse.” Many people wonder if what they’ve been through is enough to deserve therapy. I want you to know that if something is affecting you now, it matters.

I have experience supporting individuals with a wide range of mental health concerns, including trauma and PTSD, self-concept and body image difficulties, grief and loss, psychosis, mania, borderline personality disorder, ADHD, major depressive disorder, depression, anxiety, attachment-related challenges, personality- related patterns, and trauma-related responses. I also work with individuals navigating self-harm, suicidal thoughts, emotional dysregulation, and the long-term effects of emotional, physical, or sexual harm. My approach is grounded in safety, attunement, and pacing, ensuring that even complex or overwhelming experiences are explored with care.

I also have a special interest in working within interdisciplinary healthcare settings, including inpatient mental health, where I collaborated closely with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and behavioural therapists. Through this work, I developed a strong understanding of the unique demands and pressures within healthcare environments, including burnout, compassion fatigue, and the emotional impact of supporting others in high-stakes settings. This perspective informs my work by allowing me to recognize and hold space for the complexities that can come with working in healthcare.

I also work with individuals navigating major life transitions and the quieter stressors that can build over time, such as burnout, chronic overwhelm, difficulty setting boundaries, people-pleasing, and feeling emotionally exhausted or disconnected. These experiences are often normalized or minimized, yet they can deeply impact mental health, relationships, and overall well-being. Therapy can be a space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and make intentional changes that feel sustainable rather than reactive.

I strive to create a space where you feel seen, understood, and supported exactly as you are — not rushed, judged, or expected to have it all figured out. You don’t need to have the right words or know exactly what to say to start therapy; we can explore your experiences at a pace that feels safe and manageable.

As a South Asian therapist, I understand how mental health is often met with silence, shame, or pressure to stay strong within many communities. While my identity informs my lens, my practice is inclusive and welcoming to people from all backgrounds. I believe everyone deserves a space where their experiences are taken seriously and their story is honoured.

If you’re ready to take steps toward support and growth, book a 15-minute consultation now. I would be happy to hear from you and be part of your journey.

"I hope that either all of us or none of us are judged by the actions of our weakest moments, but rather the strength we show when and if we’re ever given a second chance."
