Brantford (Charing Cross) + Virtual:

Therapy offers a space to slow down and make sense of the challenges you’re facing. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, struggling with low mood or self-esteem, navigating big emotions, experiencing difficulties in relationships, or going through a difficult life transition, it can be hard to know where to start.

Working with children and teens is a unique process, as they may not always have the words to explain what they are experiencing. Children often communicate through play, creativity, and behaviour, while teens may be looking for a space where they can talk openly and feel understood without judgment. I use a combination of play-based, creative, and conversational approaches to meet young people where they are and help them feel comfortable in the therapeutic space. I help support children and teens who may be experiencing anxiety or worries, big emotions, low self-esteem, difficulties with friendships or family relationships, school-related stress, changes at home, or challenges with emotional regulation. Together, we can explore their experiences, build emotional awareness and coping skills, strengthen confidence, and develop strategies that feel manageable in their everyday lives. I believe therapy should be a space where young people feel heard, respected, and supported while also having room to be themselves.

I help support adults who may feel stuck in patterns they don’t fully understand or who are looking for support while navigating a difficult period in their lives. You may be experiencing anxiety, low mood, self-esteem difficulties, relationship challenges, emotional overwhelm, or uncertainty around a significant life transition. Together, we can explore your experiences, better understand your thoughts and emotions, and work toward the changes you hope to make. Depending on your goals, therapy may focus on building coping skills, understanding emotional patterns, improving self-esteem, strengthening communication and boundaries, or learning ways to manage distress more effectively.

My approach to therapy is grounded in empathy, curiosity, and collaboration. I believe that meaningful change begins when you feel safe, supported, and genuinely understood. I view the therapeutic relationship as a partnership, where we work together to explore your experiences and move toward what matters to you. I take a client-centered approach, rooted in the belief that you are the expert in your own life. My role is to support you in making sense of your experiences while offering tools and strategies that align with your goals. I draw from evidence-based approaches, including CBT, DBT, IFS and solution-focused therapy, while remaining flexible and responsive to your unique needs.

Above all, I aim to create a warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental environment where you feel heard, respected, and supported. Therapy is not about having all the answers, it’s about creating space to explore, understand, and move toward a life that feels more aligned with who you are.
