Some of our Social Workers/Psychotherapists can facilitate walk-n-talk and ecotherapy instead of or in combination with traditional counselling in the office. This form of treatment incorporates walking outdoors while speaking about your presenting issues with the Social Worker/Psychotherapist.

Benefits:

This therapy will encourage you to be more physically active and often help you get “unstuck” when confronting complex issues.

Challenges:

This may not be good if you experience physical health challenges that limit your ability to walk for up to one hour in length.

Goals:

Getting outdoors allows you to tap into your creativity and deeper thinking that is often released by mood-improving physical activity.

*Please note this therapy is only offered between 9:00 – 5:00 pm during the Spring, Summer, and Fall.
