Works With:

I am committed to helping clients build resilience and create a value-driven life. I believe in nurturing self-compassion and developing skills to engage with and overcome struggles. This happens through validation, exploration, and challenge and building a trusting, open relationship with my clients. With a client-centred approach, I am dedicated to staying up-to-date on current research through reading, consulting with colleagues, and continuing education opportunities.

By respecting each client’s unique qualities and needs, I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities to help clients overcome challenges including anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relational challenges, behavioral issues, ADHD, and coping with daily life.

My educational background includes a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP), Bachelor of Education (BEd) and Honours Bachelor of Arts in Communications (HBA). I also have over 20 years of experience working with teens and young adults in the education and outdoor learning field. My educational and professional experience have given me a unique understanding of the needs and challenges of young people that has been invaluable in my ability to connect with my clients.

I specialize in providing support for teens, young adults, and adults in a safe, inclusive, and relaxed environment. This means a therapeutic space that is warm, welcoming, and affirming. It would be an honor to be part of your (or your child’s) therapeutic journey.

“Because true belonging only happens when we present our authentic, imperfect selves to the world, our sense of belonging can never be greater than our level of self-acceptance.”
