Populations We Support

Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) is a therapeutic intervention that incorporates animals. At Mindful Path Counselling we incorporate Leonard, the French Bulldog in the the treatment plan.

The client(s), therapist, and animal work alongside one another in the therapeutic space, all of which are outlined in the client(s) treatment plan with clear goals, direction, measurable objectives, and how progress is reached in treatment. AAT is used to assist and enhance the therapeutic relationship beyond traditional talk therapy.
