Autumn Reflections

Autumn Reflections

A blog by Julie Moore

During this busy time of year, it’s important to prioritize our mental health as we navigate the holidays, the return to school, work demands, and the shift to colder weather. These transitions often increase stress, isolation, and anxiety, especially as environmental changes, like shorter days and colder temperatures, limit outdoor activities and community engagement.

Supporting our mental health, setting realistic expectations, connecting with nature, staying connected with loved ones, and finding moments of rest amidst the chaos can help maintain balance.

Whether it’s enjoying a quiet moment with a book, reaching out for support, listening to your body or bundling up for a walk outside, small acts of care can go a long way in supporting our well-being.
