Simcoe + Virtual:

“Sometimes in our lives, we all have pain, we all have sorrow. But if we are wise, we know that there’s always tomorrow. Lean on me, when you’re not strong, I’ll be your friend, I’ll help you carry on… Just call on me brother, when you need a hand, we all need somebody to lean on.”
Bill Withers

These lyrics strongly resonate with me. They’re a timeless and moving reminder of our shared humanity and the power of connection. They capture the essence of vulnerability, support, and community.

Reaching out for help can be hard — but it is also a courageous first step toward healing.

About me:
I’m a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). I hold a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and bring over 18 years of experience in community mental health.

I work with individuals, couples, and groups. I generally approach therapy from an integrative and collaborative method, drawing from a variety of evidence-based modalities to tailor treatment to clients’ unique needs. I have specialized training in:

  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT, DBT-PE)
  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)
  • Trauma therapy (EMDR & Flash, somatic work)
  • Gottman Method relationship therapy (Level 1, 2, and Affairs)
  • Addictions counselling

I support clients working through a wide range of concerns, including: anxiety, mood disorders, emotion dysregulation, borderline personality disorder, addictions, childhood trauma, acute traumatic experiences (accident/injury, sexual assault, disaster, death, etc.), identity issues, building distress tolerance, improving interpersonal skills, and building resilience.

I am a proud 2SLGBTQIA+ ally and strive to provide a safe, inclusive, and affirming space for everyone I work with.

“We do not see things as they are, we see things as we are.”
