Jodie Lockey-Duesling DCP (c) MA RSW (she/her)

I’m a Registered Social Worker (RSW) with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW), I hold a Masters in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. In addition to my supervisory work with Mindful Path Counselling I’m the Manager at the Student Wellness Centre, Wilfrid Laurier University, Brantford campus. I’m currently working towards my Doctorate in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. In addition to these roles, I also enjoy teaching and am currently a Faculty Member with Fanshawe College. I have completed front-line intensive therapy for over fifteen years, working in domestic violence, developmental disorders, concurrent disorders, justice systems, CMHA-BHN, and Wilfrid Laurier University. I have been a senior manager for nine years in multiple programs. I have developed three new counselling and treatment programs at multiple agencies and have been counselling now for fourteen years. I specialize in disordered eating, grief, hoarding, trauma, concurrent disorders, sexual abuse, and am certified in CBT, DBT, ACT, MBSR, MBCT, LLTF, Narrative therapy, and many more! I have presented Nationally and Internationally on DBT for post-secondary students, been on TV multiple times to speak about trauma and other topics, and been in the Communique Magazine for an article on emotion regulation. I have developed over seventy-five specialized counselling groups and provided counselling to all different clients. Lastly, I specialize in serious and persistent mental illness, working with clients that range from personality disorders, DID, psychosis, schizophrenia, MDD, and spectrum disorders.
