It is ok not to be okay. Life is hard. In the words of B. Withers, “Sometimes in our lives, we all have pain, we all have sorrow, but if we are wise we know that there’s always tomorrow. Lean on me, when you’re not strong… I’ll help you carry on.” Let me support you on your journey towards wellness.

I’m a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). I have a master’s degree in counselling psychology and fifteen years of experience working in mental health.

I approach therapy from an integrative perspective utilizing various modalities to customize optimal treatment plans collaboratively with clients. I have extensive training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), addictions, Indigenous cultural safety, psychopharmacology, trauma, EMDR and Flash. I am a LGBTQ2SIA+ ally.

I offer relationship therapy informed by my Gottman Method training. I help partners build stronger, healthier relationships while healing together from past hurts.

Therapy focuses on three key areas:

  • Managing Conflict: Couples learn to understand each other’s perspectives, eliminate criticism, contempt, defensiveness, and stonewalling, engage in open dialogue, and process past emotional hurts.
  • Enhancing Friendship & Intimacy: Strengthening the relationship’s foundation by deepening emotional connection, staying attuned to each other’s inner world, and fostering supportive interactions.
  • Creating Shared Meaning: Developing rituals, values, and shared goals to cultivate deeper connection and purpose in the relationship.

I have a passion for working with people with BPD, a history of trauma, substance and process addictions, and other emotion dysregulation problems. Reach out to discuss developing an individualized DBT and/or EMDR-based treatment plan today!”

“We do not see things as they are, we see things as we are.”
