Hello!
Life can feel overwhelming at any stage, leaving us uncertain and confused. You may be dealing with various emotions and thoughts that hold you back from taking your next step. If you’re dealing with stress or general anxiety, I’m here to help. Together, we can build resilience, improve emotional well-being, and create lasting positive change.
I work with children and adolescents (ages 4-17), as well as families, to enhance emotional well- being and strengthen relationships. I use techniques like play therapy to help children process emotions, improve communication, and navigate challenges such as school stress and emotional regulation. In family sessions, I create a space where all members are supported in working through challenges, communicating effectively, and building positive connections within the family dynamic.
Modalities that inform my practice include Strength-Based, Solution Focused, Play Therapy, Attachment, and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). I recognize that each person is unique, with their strengths, needs, and experiences. I meet people where they are, practicing from a trauma-informed lens. I also offer activities such as games, colouring, and fidget toys to help clients of all ages feel more at ease during sessions.
My educational experience includes actively pursuing a Master of Social Work at Wilfrid Laurier University. Prior education consists of completing a Bachelor of Applied Science, majoring in Child, Youth, & Family, and certifications in Early Childhood Education (ECE) and ECE Resource Consulting.
Whether you’re seeking support for yourself, your child, or your family, we can work together to create a manageable and comfortable journey.
If you’re ready to start, I always offer a 15-minute consult to see if we are a good fit. I’d love to help you, a friend, or a family member get the help they need to live better.
