Brantford (Brant) + Virtual:
As a registered psychotherapist qualifying, and having a background as a medical physician for more than twenty years in the Middle East, I am deeply committed to supporting individuals, couples/relationship(s), and families in navigating life’s challenges and enhancing their emotional well-being. I provide counselling in English and Arabic and work with clients from a compassionate, person-centred, non-judgmental place, offering a safe and supportive space for growth and healing.
I specialize in trauma-based to help you heal and connect with the changes you want. I utilize Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and The Gottman Method, evidence-based approaches that focus on strengthening emotional connections and improving communication. Whether you’re facing challenges in your relationship, dealing with personal struggles, or working through family dynamics, my goal is to help you build healthier, more fulfilling connections.
In individual therapy, I assist clients in exploring their emotions, understanding patterns of behaviour, and developing coping strategies to better manage life’s stresses. For couples, I work to foster deeper emotional intimacy, improve communication, and resolve conflicts in a constructive way. In family therapy, I help families reconnect, establish healthy boundaries, and strengthen their bonds.
My approach is safe, non-judgemental, collaborative and empathetic, ensuring that you feel heard and supported throughout your therapeutic journey. I am passionate about helping people cultivate meaningful, lasting change by addressing emotional wounds, improving relational dynamics, and creating a more profound sense of connection in all aspects of life. As an immigrant Muslim woman who has lived in multiple multicultural countries, combined with my unique background as a doctor, this will significantly contribute to how I can support you. I would love to hear from you and embark on this therapeutic journey together.
If you’re ready to make positive changes in your emotional life or relationships, I’m here to walk with you every step of the way.
