Registered Psychotherapist Qualifying MA BSW

Works With:

I have more than a decade of experience working with people who have experienced trauma, at-risk youth, and adults navigating depression, anxiety, grief, and relationship stress. I am also passionate about my work with youth and adults living with addiction. Through compassion and collaboration, I work with each individual on their unique challenges.

I use a variety of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT) to support clients. My integrative approach offers an individualized and wholistic treatment plan.

I have earned a Masters of Arts and Counselling Psychology (MA), Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and Bachelor of Arts (BA) with a major in Social Development Studies (SDS). The SDS major is an interdisciplinary education in human and social development with a focus on psychology, social work, law, and sociology. This expansive look at societal and social issues that contribute to clients’ experiences allows me to offer an antioppressive, trauma-informed, and culturally humble approach with clients.

I am guided by an empathic and client-focused approach that recognizes the importance of finding the right therapist. A strong therapeutic alliance has been proven to help clients heal. Should I not be the right fit Mindful Path Counselling has a team of therapists that may meet your needs, *check out other bios under the team page.

Overall, my experience and education provide a foundation for my work with clients to help identify strengths, build on resiliency, and set goals for healing and recovery.

If you’re ready to get started, I always offer a 15-min consult to see if we are a good fit. I’d love to help you, a friend or a member of your family get the help they need to live better.
