How can Gottman Method Couples Therapy help?

The Gottman Method helps you and your partner identify patterns and barriers in your communication. You’ll learn practical skills to express yourselves clearly, listen with empathy, and navigate disagreements in a healthier, more productive way.

Through Gottman Method Couples Therapy, you’ll learn to identify and understand the cycles that create distance in your relationship. Together, we’ll help you replace criticism, defensiveness, and emotional withdrawal with positive interactions that foster connection. You’ll gain practical tools to break free from old habits and create new ways of relating that bring you closer together.

In couples therapy, you’ll work with a compassionate, trained professional who creates a safe, non-judgmental space for you and your partner to share your feelings, experiences, and concerns. This allows both of you to feel heard and understood as you work together to rebuild your connection.

Through relationship therapy, you’ll work on strengthening your emotional bond and increasing feelings of closeness and respect. You’ll learn how to nurture intimacy, express appreciation, and deepen your connection with one another.

The Gottman Method teaches you how to approach conflict with empathy and understanding instead of frustration or defensiveness. You’ll develop tools to resolve gridlocked disagreements, compromise effectively, and find solutions that work for both of you.

Couples therapy helps you and your partner identify shared goals and values, whether you’re planning for marriage, starting a family, or simply navigating life’s challenges together. Our approach

How Gottman Method Couples Therapy Works

More than holistic health, we offer Wholistic Health

Your journey begins with understanding. In the first session, you and your partner will meet with your therapist to share what brought you to therapy and explore how your relationship has evolved. This helps uncover challenges and areas where you may feel stuck.

Each partner will then have an individual session to discuss their personal thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Your therapist may recommend a relationship assessment, which identifies your strengths and areas for growth as a couple. These insights guide the creation of a personalized treatment plan.

You’ll meet together to review your strengths, address challenges, and set clear therapy goals. Your couples therapist will teach practical tools and strategies to transform negative interaction patterns into positive ones. Between sessions, homework helps you practice new skills and create lasting change.

We invite you to stay as long as you need on your path to well-being.
