Who is reduced fee counselling for?

Reduced fee counselling (also referred to as low cost therapy, low cost counselling, or affordable therapy) is for anyone facing financial burdens that are keeping them from getting the care they need. We help individuals, families, students, and employees without extended health benefits deal with anxiety, depression, relationship problems, trauma, stress, or other emotional issues that are keeping them from living fully.

At Mindful Path Counselling, we believe everyone should have access to quality therapy without the stress of affordability.

At Mindful Path Counselling, we take a wholistic approach on your path to well-being.

Whether you need someone to talk to alone, with your partner, or with your family, we have a range of counselling services to fit your needs and budget. We provide in-person, online sessions, phone appointment and in-home services. Our diverse team includes skilled psychotherapists, social workers, life coaches, hypnotherapists, and more.

Questions About Reduced Fee Therapy

At Mindful Path Counselling, we offer reduced-fee counselling provided by trained interns who receive regular supervision from experienced therapists. This allows us to provide quality therapy at a lower cost.

Our interns are carefully selected and trained to handle a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and more. They are supervised by licensed professionals to ensure you receive the best care.

Yes, low-cost therapy can be just as effective as standard therapy. The quality of therapy depends on the therapist’s training and the therapeutic relationship, not the cost of the sessions.

It depends on the therapist and the insurance provider. It’s best to check with your insurance provider about what your insurance includes. At the end of each session, we will provide a receipt which you can submit for potential reimbursement.
